Grand Knight's Message

2008 is rapidly coming to a close and 2009 looms ahead. While the holidays will occupy our time and attention, our Council is keeping Christ in Christmas with Christmas card and Nativity magnet sales. On December 16, we can all look forward to the Children's Christmas Party complete with Santa, at St. Agnes Hall. The New Year will present many opportunities for Brother Knights to become more active in our Council. Nearly every scheduled activity can always use more help. Going forward we need a small committee to research other fund raising ideas for the people with Intellectual Disabilities (Tootsie Roll Drive). Ex.: spaghetti dinner, bingo night, golf tournament, etc., to determine which would be the most cost effective with the highest return. This next year we would also like to establish our own First Degree Exemplification team to help increase membership.
If you haven't participated in an activity for a while or haven't been to a monthly meeting recently, you can make 2009, a year to remember by your generous participation. I look forward to working with you in 2009.
