Meeting called to order at 7:35 p.m.
Began with Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance
Minutes of prior meeting were accepted as read

One application for membership was accepted
Motion made to accepted Oscar Cabrera as candidate/2nd/passed
First Degree Exemplification set for Thursday November 3

Grand Knights Report:
-Bro. George talked about the band Credence Clearwater Revival and how it was similar to the K of C in its music
-Bishop’s Vocation Dinner scheduled for Feb. 18, 2006 at St. Anne’s Union City
-Appreciation Dinner for Bro. George Conlow 11/21/05
-Charity Ball Oct. 2006 tentative (18 month span)
-GK thank all who helped in MR Drive
-Reading of the Bills/Review by trustees/accepted/ motion to pay/2nd/ pass/ pay

Treasures Report: Review of the cash accounts

Financial Secretary report:
Review of cash flow Income versus Expense

            St. Agnes Report:
            -St. Agnes blitz scheduled for 11/19-20

Community Director Report:
-4th/3rd Degree Christmas Social Spring Garden 12/4
-Christmas Party 12/20 @ 6:30
-Trader Joe’s pick up continues
-Like to see more involvement in activity (MR Drive, etc) by fellow Knights
-Scheduling of Crab Feeds
-Officer Phone Bank (create master list break it down)

Youth Director:
-Soccer challenge information is delayed/late arriving
-Free Throw information is delayed
-World Youth Day 2008: Fundraising, 3yr plan

Pro Life:
-Refresh minds to look at Prop 73

Unfinished Business:
-Who should receive MR Drive funds? Must have 501 C3 nonprofit status
            -Adaptive Learning Program     -Bridge Program through MDUSD as “recipients”

New Business:
-3rd Degree Certificate present to Bro. Mike Milligan
-CD Financial offer credit union services
            -possibly move council accounts to their institution
-Look at purchasing a computer program to do the books; motion/2nd/pass ($75)

Reminder to vote Nov. 8
-Remember Prop 73
-11/19 Chapter Meeting 8:00 a.m.
-Passed around flyer reminding of appreciation dinner for Bro. George
-Rosary Prayer; Queen of Heaven Cemetery Saturday’s 10:00 a.m.
